Most women in Bangladesh see a gynaecologist only when something is wrong. A periodic check finds the conditions that develop silently — and cervical changes, anaemia and early breast lumps are all far easier to treat when found this way.
When to see the doctor
- No symptoms at all — that is the point
- A family history of breast or gynae cancer
- Never having had cervical screening
